Explorers

Open to all young people aged 13.5-18.
The Explorers help plan and run their own varied programme, everything from silly challenges to first aid and outdoor cookery. We also do fundraising to help pay for activities like summer camp.
Most of us enjoy camping and expeditions. Many members are busy with their Duke of Edinburghs Award at various levels from Bronze to Gold. Some are also young leaders in younger sections.
The Explorers are more flexible about attendance then the younger sections, as we recognise that young people have other priorities at times like school or exam work.

Open to all young people aged from 13½ to 18. We meet in  Tervuren.

We  have recently restarted running the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award scheme alongside the Explorer Scout Awards  (Chief Scout’s and Queen’s Scout Awards) which are similar but have a few additional requirements. If you are doing DofE through school you can use your awards towards the scouting scheme.
